Safe access, built to last the life of the building.
Structural staircases designed for safety, compliance, and long-term use. Fabricated to suit your layout, load requirements, and installation constraints. Built to work, built to last.

Our staircases are designed and fabricated for commercial and industrial environments where durability and safety are non-negotiable. Each system is engineered around its location – considering structural loading, frequency of use, available space, and compliance requirements from the outset. From primary steel frameworks to balustrades and treads, every element is controlled and built to specification.
- Industrial Staircases – Heavy-duty systems designed for operational environments.
- Access Stairs – Internal and external stairs connecting plant levels and service areas.
- Fire Escape Stairs– Fabricated in line with structural and safety requirements.
- Mezzanine Access – Stair systems integrated with raised platforms.
- External Steel Stairs – Weather-resistant systems for exposed locations.
- Balustrades & Handrails – Integrated guarding built for strength and compliance.
- Modular Stair Systems – Fabricated in sections for efficient transport and installation.
We review structural requirements, usage levels, access constraints, and compliance considerations. Dimensions, loadings, and connection points are confirmed before design progresses. The clearer we are here, the less likely modifications will be required downstream.
Technical drawings are developed to reflect structural integrity and safe use. Tread type, riser detail, guarding height, and connection methods are incorporated into the design. We ensure compatibility with the wider building structure.
Stair components are fabricated using controlled processes and verified materials. Weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and alignment are checked throughout manufacture. Where assemblies are required, they are built and pre-checked in-house.
Completed staircases are inspected against specification and structural requirements. Connection points and access features are verified prior to finishing and dispatch. Components are prepared for straightforward installation on site.
Your staircase questions, answered
Specifying metalwork isn't always straightforward. Here are the questions we hear most often — and the honest answers.
Yes. Whether it's a general access staircase or a designated fire escape, we design and fabricate to the relevant Building Regulations, including Part K (protection from falling) and Part B (fire safety) where applicable. If your project has specific requirements around fire ratings, DDA access, or means of escape, we'll factor those in from the start. It's far easier to build compliance into the design than to retrofit it after fabrication.
We supply the complete package — stringers, treads, landings, balustrades, and handrails — designed and fabricated together as one coordinated assembly. That means everything lines up, the fixings are right, and your install team isn't trying to marry up components from two different suppliers with two different sets of tolerances.
That's where most bespoke staircase projects start. Standard modular staircases work in new builds with standard dimensions. Refurbishments, plant rooms, mezzanines, and older buildings rarely have that luxury. We'll survey the space, design around the constraints, and if the finished staircase can't be delivered in one piece, we'll fabricate it in sections that can be assembled on site without compromising structural integrity.
