Infrastructure that keeps uptime where it belongs.
Data centres run on uptime, and uptime runs on infrastructure you can trust. We fabricate structural steelwork, containment enclosures, and support systems for new-build and operational data centre facilities across the UK.

What data centre engineering demands
Data centres are among the most demanding construction environments. Tolerances are tight, programmes are fast, and the cost of getting something wrong in a live facility is measured in minutes of downtime, which can mean millions of pounds.
Data centre metalwork doesn't exist in isolation. It sits alongside raised floors, cable management, cooling systems, and MEP services that all need to interface cleanly. Fabricated steelwork has to hit its tolerances first time, because rework in a data hall costs time the programme doesn't have.

Thermal management drives the layout of every data hall. Hot aisle and cold aisle containment systems, blanking panels, louvre screens, and ventilation infrastructure all need to be fabricated to exact dimensions so they perform as designed. A gap in containment is wasted cooling capacity.
Physical security in data centres goes well beyond a perimeter fence. Internal security cages, mesh partitions, restricted-access enclosures, and controlled entry points all require fabrication that's precise, repeatable, and compatible with electronic access systems. We build to those requirements.

Infrastructure for 24/7/365 uptime
We've supplied steelwork and fabricated infrastructure for data centre projects at various stages, from shell and core construction through to internal fit-out and expansion phases. We work with main contractors, M&E specialists, and directly with operators to deliver metalwork that integrates cleanly and arrives when it's needed.
- Structural steelwork for new-build data centre shells and extensions
- Generator and transformer enclosures, including acoustic housings
- Hot aisle and cold aisle containment frames and panels
- Security cages, mesh partitions, and access-controlled enclosures
- Cable tray systems, ladder racks, and service support steelwork
- Access platforms, walkways, and mezzanine structures
- External compound steelwork for switchgear, substations, and plant areas
- Bespoke brackets, plinths, and mounting frames for MEP coordination.
Your data centre questions, answered
Specifying metalwork isn't always straightforward. Here are the questions we hear most often — and the honest answers.
Yes. We know that downtime isn't an inconvenience in a data centre — it's a contractual and financial risk. We work to the access protocols, cleanliness standards, and coordination requirements that live data environments demand. That means controlled deliveries, dust-free installation practices, and scheduling work around operational windows rather than expecting the facility to work around us.
We supply containment systems, cable management frameworks, equipment enclosures, support steelwork, access platforms, and bespoke bracketry. Most of it is designed to integrate with existing raised floor systems, overhead cable trays, and cooling infrastructure. If your project involves custom metalwork that needs to fit precisely within a data hall layout, we'll work from your design or develop the solution with your mechanical and electrical team.
Every component is dimensionally checked before it leaves our workshop. For data centre environments where particulate contamination matters, we clean, deburr, and package components to arrive site-ready without requiring additional preparation. If the spec calls for specific finishes — powder coating, galvanising, or bare metal with protective coating — we'll confirm what's appropriate for the environment and apply it before despatch.
